👨‍🍳 Juan Fuentes – Owner & Pit Boss

Juan is the flavor architect behind MexiRican Fusion. Born and raised Puerto Rican, he grew up with arroz con gandules in one hand and a dream in the other. A longtime IT project manager turned culinary warrior, Juan traded boardrooms for birria. Now, he's the one manning the grill, perfecting the recipes, and bringing the fire—literally and figuratively—to every event.

His mission? Serve food that makes people close their eyes, smile, and say, “Damn, that’s good.”

🎨 Aylin Castillo – Head of Marketing (aka the Boss Behind the Boss)

Aylin is the creative heartbeat of MexiRican Fusion. Hailing from Monterrey, Mexico, she brings the passion, colors, and stories of her culture into every plate and every post. She’s the one behind the logo, the flyers, the TikToks, and that killer aesthetic that turns heads.

More than marketing—Aylin builds community. She’s the reason people don’t just eat our food—they fall in love with the brand.

This all started with a grill, a dream, and two countries’ flavors.

MexiRican Fusion was born in the middle of late-night cooking sessions, family debates over sazón vs. salsa, and a shared love of feeding people like they’re familia. We blended Juan’s Puerto Rican roots with Aylin’s Mexican heritage, threw in some old-school hustle, and created something bold, soulful, and real.

What began as “let’s just cook for a few people” quickly turned into full pop-up tents, people lining up for our birria tacos and empanadas, and a growing community that craves the same thing we do—food with heart and heat.

We're not a restaurant chain. We're not a cookie-cutter food truck.
